Profile of the band 

Defaid Du are a bi-lingual ceilidh band who live in and around Bangor in North Wales. We play a mixture of English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh traditional music (jigs, reels, hornpipes etc) with a few songs in between. 

We particularly enjoy playing for dances at weddings, birthdays, charity gigs or any other excuse for a barndance. On these occasions we bring a caller along who leads the dancers carefully through the dances so no-one needs to worry, even if they’ve never danced before.
